Hey all here my interview with the band the 3 Little Wolves
How'd you get started in music? We had been playing in various bands for a few years, but this is the first time we have all played together. It feels really fresh to bring all of our combined experiences together and create something new.
Who are your inspirations or influences? Radiohead, Flaming Lips, Suede plus more contemporary acts such as Tame Impala. What advice would you offer aspiring performers? Get yourselves out there! These days anyone can upload music onto Spotify and have a social media account so go for it! This means that it can be a crowded marketplace, but engaging on platforms and building followers over time means that you will start to build a dedicated fanbase and get some momentum. There are also dozens of independent radio stations out there who are always keen to play new music. Keep sending your stuff on and don't give up! Try to source local gigs so people can come and see you live. How do you set yourselves apart from other bands or singers? We are often told in interviews and online that our music sounds a bit different to other bands and we are quite happy with that! Anything that helps you stand out can only be a good thing, and if that thing is that we have a unique sound that's even better!Any new gigs or albums in the future? We have a gig in the 13th Note Cafe, Glasgow, on the 22nd October with other gigs in the West Midlands (which is where we are based) to follow over the next few months. Watch this space! We have also written 11 songs for an album which will be released as soon as we have a confirmed date. We have 3 singles and an EP you can check out on Spotify right now!
Special thanks to them for doing this interivew & I wish them lots of luck in their music. So until then I'l catch you on The Flipside! Stay awesome & rock n roll!
