We started like most guys, listening to legendary bands like Led Zeppelin, Deep Purple and Black Sabbath. I (particularly) started playing after a friend of my father gave me a guitar made by an Argentinian luthier. I absolute felt in love from the moment I played the first note!
Who are your inspirations or influences? We listen to almost all kinds of music, from the bands mentioned above to the most extreme metal, obviously the instrumental bands are the ones that most call our attention, bands such as: Toska, Scale the Summit and Mestis. However, we don’t leave aside the Disco music, Jazz or even the Rolling Stones. :-)
What advice would offer aspiring performers?
If you really like what you do, don’t stop fighting. Even if that means going through a lot of suffering or frustration along the way... there will be days when you just want to give up everything, but once you reach the goal, you know it was worth it. That feeling is unique, when you improve yourself, it’s simply the best.
How do you set yourselves apart from other bands or singers?
Hermit's Maze is an instrumental metal band that mixes several genres and rhythms at once. The band tries to wake up opposite feelings as the songs goes by. After the release of our Debut EP we began to receive written stories from different fans inspired by what our music woke up in them. We published those stories on our Facebook page, you can take a look, they are really great. This inspired a close friend of the band to start working on a 300 pages Sci-fi novel, which is almost finished and ready to be published.
We are working hard on our forthcoming album. We expect to have it ready as soon as possible during this year, so stay tuned!!! BTW you can listen in the meantime our single "Duality" (a completely brand new track that will be featured in the album), it is available on almost all platforms as Spotify, Bandcamp, etc
Special thanks to them for doing this interview & feel free to check out their links of their work so until then I'll catch you on the flipside! Stay awesome & rock on!
