DJ Interviews: Come Unstuck

Hello everyone DJ Dizzy here & I sat with a band by the name of Come Unstuck who had so much to share regarding their humble beginnings. So pull up a chair & enjoy!

How'd you get started in music
It all started in 2014. Hugo and Alex were part of a Green Day tribute band where they had their first experiences in a band and their first gigs. After evolving in local scenes, they decided to set up a new band: Come Unstuck.
As a follow-up to their performance featuring other great pop-punk artists, the new goal of this project was to write songs in a more contemporary alternative rock music style. After a long period of composition and having recruited new members, we went to Paris to record at Bertrand and Eric Poncet's studio (from the band Chunk! No, Captain Chunk!) in order to record our first EP.
To promote this EP we made a video clip "The Ground Rules"

Who are your inspirations or influences?
For this EP we were pretty much influenced by bands from the alternative rock and modern pop-punk scene (like: State Champs, The Story So Far, Neck Deep, A Day To Remember ...).

What advice would offer aspiring performers?
Think carefully before you start, stay close to the ones who will help you and focus on quality over quantity.

How do you set yourselves apart from other bands or singers?
We are French. The only french band in the same kind of genre who is internationally known is Chunk! No, Captain Chunk! This is not a very popular music genre in our country, we are pretty much the only ones who are doing it.

Any new gigs or albums in the future?
Right now, we are currently looking for a label so that we can carry on some various projects such as a new album or a tour.

I wish them nothing but luck in their success & their career & I hope you enjoy their new song "The Ground Rule" feel free to give a listen by way of the link. So until then I'll catch you on the flipside! Stay awesome & Rock on!
