Hey there guys is your old pal DJ Dizzy here & I had the pleasure of interviewing a metal band who call themselves Sauc as they sat down with me & discussed their musical beginnings. Enjoy!
How'd you get started in music?
With SAÜC we started at the beginning of 2018.
It is very important to listen to all kinds of music and have multiple influences. If you manage to make your music very rich in nuances and not all songs sound the same. It is also convenient to practice a lot with your instrument and when composing, look for your strengths and not try to imitate others. And of course, have a lot of patience, discipline and enthusiasm.
Our main difference is that we sing in our mother language, Catalan. There are not many bands of our style that sing in this language, and although it seems that the language can be a barrier, we have people from other countries who listen to us. On a musical level, our songs are quite dynamic and varied, so listening to our music is a very entertaining experience.
Currently we are recording our first official album "eterna". This album will sort out before summer of 2021. For this album we have great collaborations. We would be pleasant to take a tour through our territory, but under the current sanitary conditions it seems quite difficult for the moment.
Who are your inspirations or influences?
We have a lot of influences in the band: Iron Maiden, Metallica, Dream Theater, Berri Txarrak,... Each member of the band teaches a different style, so each song of SAÜC sounds different and varied.
What advice would offer aspiring performers?
