DJ Reviews: Frontin Stunts Deep Fake

Hey there one & all its DJ Dizzy here & I had just heard the song Deep Fake by a band who answer to Frontin' Stunts 

Now this song has sort of a soundscape vibe to it the way the music for it came together & its guitar solo had that of a crunchy yet mellow sound with it I would say its got kind of an industrial style feel to it & its pretty interesting if that's wht you might like but overall  I see this song as an industriall rock style soundscape which is unique & this band does have a unique sound to them.

How'd you get started in music?

I always loved singing since before I could speak. I just never had the courage to actually release music until 2022, when I unfortunately lost my mother to cancer and I felt the need to express my love for her through my music and share it with the world. It’s been part of my healing process.

Who are your inspirations or influences?

I find big inspiration in singers like Lana Del Rey, Birdy and Taylor Swift. I also love singers like Marina and Lady Gaga and would like to also try and make more upbeat music in the future like them (as well as my usual slow melancholic style ofcourse).

What advice would you offer aspiring performers?

Just keep creating and releasing. Never give up, even if you feel like your numbers aren’t growing. Just unleash your creativity, make it your hobby and always have fun with it - then slowly you’ll get places.

How do you set yourselves apart from other bands or singers?

I think I have a special style that’s usually very emotional and melancholic. My lyrics is very raw and you can hear the pain & grief I’ve been through in the timbre of my voice. You can feel that my songs are not commercial, they’re authentic.

Any new gigs or albums in the future?

I’m working on a new song as we speak, but that’s a story for later ;)

How'd you get started in music?

Several years ago we did cover shows in different musical styles (Blues-rock-funk-Jazz- and others). So when we started creating our own songs in 2017, it gave a mix of styles that we had as an experience.

Who are your inspirations or influences?

We are influenced by bands like Jamiroquoi, Steve Ray Vaughn, David Bowie, Red hot chili peppers.

What advice would you offer aspiring performers?

Practice and tenacity are a guarantee of success.

How do you set yourselves apart from other bands or singers?

by our diverse styles and catchy melodies with a funky rhythm

Any new gigs or albums in the future?

At the moment we have a few shows and we are still composing new songs.

DJ Interviews: Panhead Sharps

 

Hey there guys, DJ Dizzy here & I'm reviewing a new band called The Panhead Shaprs & their new song I guess this is goodbye.

Hearing this song it has ab accoustic feel to it sine its meant to tell a story of  flling out or a break up but either way its an interesting piece, the music was very mellow & I could really sense that in the guitar playing as well as the rest of the instruments but the vocals were pretty good although I have some mixed thoughts about them but regardless it's a good song with a story that really expresses how tough it can be to let go of something & we've all been there at some point.
